Meet Our Story's Heart
Before there was an idea for books, music, recipes, or animated adventures, there was simply a dad cooking with his two little girls.
What started as everyday family moments in the kitchen slowly became something magical.
Chef Terrell Wilson always believed food was more than something we eat. Food tells stories. It connects cultures. It creates memories. Most importantly, it brings people together. As a professional chef and father, some of his favorite moments weren’t happening inside restaurants or professional kitchens — they were happening at home with Pashion and Wyntr standing beside him on little stools, excited to help however they could.
Like many parents, Terrell faced the challenge of picky eaters at home. Getting the girls to try new foods sometimes felt impossible. But instead of forcing meals onto the plate, he discovered something important: children become more excited about food when they help create it themselves.
The kitchen became a place of curiosity instead of pressure.
The girls began helping stir sauces, crack eggs, season food, and mix ingredients. They asked questions. They tasted things they normally would never try. Cooking became an adventure instead of a chore. Slowly, those moments helped turn picky eating into confidence, exploration, and excitement around food.
But something even bigger was happening.
The family started creating memories they never wanted to forget — flour-covered counters, kitchen dance parties, messy aprons, little victories, laughter after mistakes, and bedtime stories inspired by their cooking adventures together. In the eyes of Pashion and Wyntr, the kitchen transformed into a magical world where every recipe held a story waiting to be discovered.
Wooden spoons became magical tools. Whisks sparkled with wonder. Recipes became adventures. Food became a doorway into imagination, creativity, culture, and love.
From those real-life moments, The Little Sous Chefs universe was born.
At the center of the story are Pashion and Wyntr, two imaginative little sous chefs guided by their dad, Chef, through magical culinary adventures filled with learning, music, creativity, and discovery. Together they explore foods from around the world, learn kitchen lessons, build confidence, and discover that mistakes are part of learning and that trying something new can lead to something amazing.
What makes The Little Sous Chefs special is that it was never created to be just a children’s book. It was created to become a place where families can connect together. A place where parents and children can cook, sing, dance, laugh, learn, and create meaningful memories side by side.
Today, that world continues to grow through books, music, printable activities, recipes, merchandise, and The Little Sous Chefs Cooking Class animated series — all inspired by real family experiences and the belief that some of life’s greatest moments happen in the kitchen together.
The Little Sous Chefs celebrates family, creativity, culture, confidence, imagination, and connection through food. It reminds children that their ideas matter, their creativity matters, and that even the smallest hands can create something magical.
Because here, every recipe tells a story… and love will always be the secret ingredient to life.
